SB 630 responds to the confusion regarding the authority of local governments to enact enforcement mechanisms specifically tailored to their communities and experiences to ensure that the human trafficking notices are enforced. Each region of California is experiencing the challenge of human trafficking in different ways and local government must be empowered to take the steps that they feel will best address their experiences.
