  • Requires educational agencies to review and update policies on pupil suicide prevention, revise training materials to incorporate best practices identified by the State Department of Public Health (DPH), provide suicide awareness and prevention training to teachers of pupils in all of the grades. 
  • States the intent of legislature to require the Deprtment of Education to establish a school health center at five school locations located in counties with high rates of youth suicide and self-harm and to require DPH to collect data on the pilot program
